SAP GUI for HTML - Workflow tasks

I have standard tasks that I am trying to open through the SAP gui for HTML. I am using my Personal Work Center through service "sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BWSP".

All tasks are listed in my inbox just like the SAP GUI through windows.

If any task is executed from the inbox an internal error 500 is displayed with message.

"The website cannot display the page." is there something else to be configured for these tasks?

I have also found this POWL "sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/powl?APPLID=WF"

However, any attempt to execute a task from this POWL inbox only changes the status to reserved, puts an "executed" icon under start, but does not launch the work item at all.

I found a NOTE that refers to this as "SAP Internet Transaction Server service BWSP"

I do not know what this is called specifically. I only know this is accessed via the url server:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BWSP. When I access this it looks like SBWP from the sap gui and says "Work Center for" my name.

I know nothing about the UWL or even how to access this. I keep reading about the portal in trying to find a solution, but I also have no idea how to access the portal or even if we have it activated.

So I have done no such XLM config of the UWL but I also do not know if anyone else has.

I unfortunately have very little information.

Thanks for the description.

Could you please let us know specifically which Inbox application you're using? As we know, there are a few options:
- UWL
- Unified Inbox
- My Inbox
- ...

If you're using UWL in the portal, I would suggest that you look after what is shown in the UWL Support Information, to see what XML file is controlling the behavior of the item launching. See SAP KBA 1532883 about that.

You've mentioned that you're using the "Personal Work Center" through service "sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BWSP". Have you performed XML configuration in the UWL so that to make the items launch by using this service rather than the default settings?
