    Hi ,

Please check in trans.log file what is the error message is gives to you. Please check if your databse is running & you are able to connect with command below::

    sqlplus /nolog

    connect <schemaid>\<schemapassowrd>

Attach more detailed log from trans.log to assist you further.

    Thanks..

      Hi,

First see in alert_sid.log file for error. If you find any error the send that details.

Are you able to connect to oracle using SQL*PLUS?

      Thanks,

      Shambo

Not enough information. Make sure all your oracle services are running fine and try to connect to database manually.

    • Hi Subhash Chandra,

This problem was solved... And don´t ask me how, I don´t know... the only thing I did was change another time the kernel upgrade that I was doing... but after that the system didn´t start and when I tried to figure out which are the main problem for that error and put that string in command prompt (r3trans -d) that brought that error 0012.. so I search it in SDN forum and I found this thread with this issue...

So, now my system still didn´t start!! 😔 Can you give other/any tip what I have to do... I tried to analyze some log files like dev_disp ; dev_w0 ; dev_dispatcher ... but I don´t know yet how I´ll solve this!! 😔

The main thread/post with this problem is in link:

      Best regards,
