Delete Set of books

Hi Experts,

We have two set of books configured in the system (Chinese GAAP and US GAAP), where Chinese GAAP is the default one and US GAAP is secondary book. As we don't require US book from this month we are planning to delete US GAAP. I wanted to know Is it possible to delete the set of book. If so what are the steps need to be done and is there any precaution steps need to be carried out.

Hello,

You cannot delete the set of books if the posting have been done. You can deactivate the set of books in Set of books activity to avoid further transaction.

You can select the required SOB in SOB activity and go to Company Settings tab and select the company->Click on Deactivate.

Kindly note: once the SOB deactivated, it cannot be activated again for that particular SOB in the company code.
