File to IDOC processing

Hello Experts.

Need some help on IDOC processing.

My request is to receive information from external NON-SAP system and to generate IDOC processing on SAP side.

External system are providing already files with standard IDOC segments.

Those files will be put on SAP Server directory.

How can i transform or upload the file to sap and put it for IDOC processing?

What configuration as to be done?

I managed to upload the file using TESTING TOOL ... Transaction WE19 ... File as Template ... and created the IDOC.

My question is also how can i set SAP to do this in a standard automatic way?

Please give me guidelines on this matter since i'm not used to work with IDOC's
