Change on Product Hirerchy

I am planning to change a product hirerchy of the current existing scanerio and what could be the impacts on this and what are the intigrations with other modules .

It impacts only to SD.. If you used it as an element in Flexible Planning, you need to change your Planning Hierarchy also accordingly.

Product Heirarchy is a Alphanumeric character string for grouping together materials by combining different characteristics.

only SD is affected , to my understanding does not impact other modules,It is used for analyses and price determination.
