I am created the Service Po By selecting the A/c Assignment Act K , item Cat As D & Descriptin have entered the Gl A/c , Cost center. when entered & save it is giving the error Pl enter the Material.

Pl help me

Hi Sudhir,

You have to specify the material Description. Once you specify any text in material description. this error will be removed.

Pls note: At item level you have to mentioned two things.

1. Material Description

2. Material Group

Specify these two things, your error will be resolved.

Hi,

are you sure that you get the error message "Pls. enter material"? Was it not the error message "please enter a material GROUP" (SE193)?

Have you not received the message "Please enter services or limits" (SE029)?

Please check in the field selection settings in the customizing wether you have set the matarial group for a required entry.

Please check also the notes 1325171 and 823436.
