LCM Promotion Error

Hi everybody,

I have face an error while using LCM.

I have a Production env and Dev env. They are both BOXI 3.1.

I can successfully login to LCM and define a new job. At this, I login to production env with a user which is member of administrators group. I add a Web Intelligence report to this job and not selected the dependent objects.

When I click "Test Promote" I have faced an error which says

Commit Status=Commit attempted and failed, Promotion Status=Failure : com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException: com.businessobjects.sdk.biar.exception.XSDException$ImportParsingException: Import file parsing exception occurred : 'Item 'ALLOW_DISCUSSION_THREADS' does not exist in enumeration 'Note_RightEnum'. (FWM 04016)' (FWM 04009) cause:com.businessobjects.sdk.biar.exception.XSDException$InvalidEnumItemException: Item 'ALLOW_DISCUSSION_THREADS' does not exist in enumeration 'Note_RightEnum'. (FWM 04016) detail:Import file parsing exception occurred : 'Item 'ALLOW_DISCUSSION_THREADS' does not exist in enumeration 'Note_RightEnum'. (FWM 04016)' (FWM 04009) Item 'ALLOW_DISCUSSION_THREADS' does not exist in enumeration 'Note_RightEnum'. (FWM 04016)

What will be the cause of this error message??

By the way, when I login with "Administrator" user, there is no problem..

Is there any suggestions about which right should I check?

Yes, it's solved. We give permission to see LCM folder on the PROD server. Then the issue is solved.

Can you try with with the Security Option enabled.

Hi Omer,

in the Promote Window on the left-hand side, click on "Security Settings". Select the option (radio button) "Promote Security" and try the promotion again.
