Reg:"Configure Product" option is in grey mode in CRM Order

Hi Gurus ,

We are using Variant configuration in ERP and replicating the same to CRM.I have maintained the required settings to replicate the data ,but still not able to configure a product in CRM,while creating the order and after entering the material at line item ,I am not able to select the field "Configure Product",because it is coming in grey mode.

I have mainatined the below steps succesfully.

1.Knowledge base Creation

2.Run time version creation

3.SCE settings

4.Intial download for SCE and CONFIGURATION.

5.The following Bdocs are generated in table.TBE31 in ECC when I generate the Knowledge base runtime version.

00550001 BC-MID CRS_SCE_COLLECT_DATA_CREATE

00550002 BC-MID CRS_SCE_COLLECT_DATA_CHANGE

00550003 BC-MID CRS_SCE_COLLECT_DATA_DELETE

Kindly suggest me ,if any thing is missing in configuration.

Hi Pasapula,

You can check the following:

1. if the VMC is running which will access teh KB

2. If the Product is defined as the configurable product and downloaded correctly to CRM.

3. If KB is downloaded without any errors. SCE object is successfully completed.

Hi Pasapula,

check the product (in CRM) , if in the configuration tab has entry for configuration model, it means the product is replicated successfully & then you can simulate the configuration from the screen only.

If Config. model is not availble , check in ERP if the profile for tha mate. has been created correctly assigned.

Here the steps of creating varaint products are crucial,if you miss the sequence , you can face this type of issues.

Hi,

Create the products in R/3 and maintain the knowledgebase,IPC and do the down load the data will flow to CRM through delta down load.

Variant configuration of ECC6.0 will work in CRM 7.0 through IPC.Make the settings for IPC .

You need a J2EE server. You can the access XCM config via this link:

http://server:port/ipc/admin/xcm/init.do
