shipping tab in sales order

Hi experts,

I want to know how the information like for example plant in the shipping tab in the sales order is determined. Is this information extracted from material master data?

Hii,

Plant is determined in sales order in the following order-

1. It checks Cust-Mat Info record. If it is not able to determine plant, then it goes to next step.

2. Customer Master. If it is still not able to determine, then it goes to next step.

3. Material Master.

If it is still not able to determine plant, then it pops up message that it is not able to determine plant.

Hi,

Plant is determined in the sales order by different master record.

first system will check plant in customer material master data.

if any plant has been saved over there then it will come in the sales order.

If system doesnt found any plant over there then it will go to customer master data.

if system found plant over there then that plant will come in the sales order.

if you have not maintain plant in customer master then it will go to material master data.

if plant have been saved over there than it will come from there.

if you have not maitain plant in these master data then no plant will be found.

where ever system finds the plant first system will stop over there and that plant will come to the sales order
