BOM- Lead-time offset for operation item data screen

This is working between the assembly and Component scheduling if it is in "Days". Not working if it is "Hours"?

*Also when I enter (1- ) in the field (oper.LT offset) the UOM defaults to Days. I change it to Hr .

The lead time offset is used in days by default and it cannot be changed.

The Oper. LT offset could be set to hours in my internal test systems, even when using a negative value.

My focus is on Oper.LT Offset. There are 2 issues I see here.

    a) If I use the "DAY" in Oper LT offset (-2 days) it schedules ok between the Assembly and the component.

Assembly: (Production dates)- Planned order A (REM)

    Start: 11/30/2016.

    Finish : 11/30/2016.

Component : (Production Dates) - Planned order C (REM)

    Start : 11/28/2016

    Finish 11/28/2016

    b) I would like to use "Hrs" so that the assembly and component are offset by "Hrs" (-1 hr*)

Assembly : (Production dates)- Planned order A (REM)- Only 1 operation.

    Start: 11/30/2016. Start : 9.00 am*

    Finish : 11/30/2016. Finish : 9.30 am

Component: (Production Dates)- Planned order C (REM)

    Start: 11/30/2016. Start : 8.00 am *

    Finish : 11/30/2016. Finish : 8.30 am

Its not scheduling like this ,instead its just scheduling 9.00 am to 9.30 am (same time interval) for both Assembly and component.

Infact I need the component 1 hr earlier to start of the assembly.!
