Error retrieving Comments - SAP BPC NW

Hello team

I have a question for you and I hope that you can to help me

I have created an Input Form with 3 columns (ID, Name and Type of Third Party), and all 3 columns are text. For that I use SAP BPC Formula EPMSaveComment, but 2 columns (ID and Name) depend from the other because in that column is the Type and it is a member from a dimension model. That works (the SaveComment), but when I make the report form appears for the ID and Name column "#RFR" and load the type column comment. I supose that is a issue because the other columns are depending of the type column and when I refresh the sheet it doesn't work because it tries to refresh the type column too.

Can you help me please suggesting what should a I do for solve this problem?

At the moment the only one solution that I found is to Refresh the selected data in the option button Refresh but the client thinks that is not the way.

Thanks a lot team!!

    Thanks for your answer

Here you are an explanation of the problem:

    First:

We have the Input Form with the third party list:

The 3 columns are text and look the save button

Save the comments and it's OK:

Later, I need to check the comments (closing first the Input Form), for this I open the Report Form with the third party list:

    Press the Update button:

    And I have this report:

You can see that the third column has loaded the comment, but the others just appear #RFR, if I press again the Update Button, it will happen again. The only way to watch the other comments is Update selected data option

    And it works

But for the customer it’s not the way.

Finally here you are the formulas for Save Comments and EPMCommentFullContext:

    =EPMCommentFullContext(;;"SOCIEDAD:"&J$5;"TIEMPO:"&J$6;"VERSION:"&J$7;"CONCEPTOREVELAF:"&B12;"CONCEPTOREVELAC:"&E$11;"AUDITORIA:SUPER";"MONEDA:ML";"CUENTAREVELACION:NA_CUENTA";"TIPO:NA_TIPO")

This is the formula for the last column in the J position

    =IF(J12="";"";EPMCommentFullContext(;;"SOCIEDAD:"&J$5;"TIEMPO:"&J$6;"VERSION:"&J$7;"CONCEPTOREVELAF:"&B12;"CONCEPTOREVELAC:"&C$11;"AUDITORIA:SUPER";"MONEDA:ML";"CUENTAREVELACION:NA_CUENTA";"TIPO:"&J12))

    =IF(J12="";"";EPMCommentFullContext(;;"SOCIEDAD:"&J$5;"TIEMPO:"&J$6;"VERSION:"&J$7;"CONCEPTOREVELAF:"&B12;"CONCEPTOREVELAC:"&D$11;"AUDITORIA:SUPER";"MONEDA:ML";"CUENTAREVELACION:NA_CUENTA";"TIPO:"&J12))

And there are the formulas for the first column and second column respectively. You can to detail the formula has the Type as reference, and I suppose that is the reason for it doesn’t work when I update.

I need that reference because I have to know what is the type member for each ID and Name in the record.

This is a good example how to NOT ask the questions.

Screenshots without Excel column and row labels

Formulas without the explanation in what cell is this formula

Not English interface is used for epm

Do you really need an answer?

Have a look at this SAP note 2072155 - EPM add-in Error: EPMCommentFullContext displays #RFR after using Refresh button for MS version! Might help your case....

P.S I dint understand which version of BPC you are using since primary tag is NW and secondary suggests IFRS kit for MS....still suggested the note.

    Regards,
