Cost Centre not popping up in CAT2 transaction

Dear Experts,

I'm new to SAP HR and seems I have missed some entry in maintaining HR master Data (PA30). I have assigned Personnel Number to Enterprise structure and therein I have made an entry for cost centre field as well.

When I go to CAT2 transaction for time recording for this personnel, the cost sentre field does not display the cost centre and is greyed out.

Also I get the error ' Enter sender activity type for cost centre' .

Please help me identify the missing entries.

Hi,

In your case maintain IT0315 through PA30. then it will work.

Through pa30 goto It0315 and maintain master costcenter (same as IT0002)...then it will work..Try it..

Hi,

This is the 1st time I'm looking into this transaction PA30. I have entered the organisational details in infotype 'organisational assignment' and then under enterprise structure. I dont see IT0315 or IT0002.

Please help me locate this.

Hi Jyothi,

Go to PA30.

and enter any personnel number.

In the infotype direct selection tab - type 315

and select the create button.

Now 315 infotype window will open, you need to enter sender cost center and activity type if you want to default both.
