Cost in CN47N

How can I get Actual cost and Palnned cost associated with a Network Activity in this transcation. I have created a layout which gets downloaded as an excel report. Which foelds should I choose in the layout , so that the cost information also shows up.

hi,

i believe you cannot display the costs in cn47n

unless you create a means such that the planned and actual costs will be posted into the user fields

(can you perhaps use substitution perhaps to input the planned cost in a user field - ex, qty x price ? )

if you can, then you just display the user field...

however better if you use cost reports, anyway you can do reporting across different projects...

Thanks Ramesh and Virendra for your response. If cost cannot be seen in CN47 N, which transaction would give a comparison between Planned and Actual cost for Network Activities ?

Hi NM,

You can check the Plan/Actual details at activity level in CN41 and CN41N transactions. you can check in Hierarchial reports under costs in PS information system. I guess network is activity account assigned in your case !!

cn47n is an individual overview report and is not what I would use for plan and actual cost

in the activity the plan could be work, material and so on - however the standard price or valuation of the material and activity pricing rates are stored in controlling in different tables
