Shipping point was not determine in the order with material determination.

Hi,

I´m using material determination for my sales order, and i need to determine the Shipping point with storage location configuration. So when I add the material number, the quantity and the storage location the material determination runs and in the second line determined the shipping point it is not filled. Any body knows how can I fix this problem?

please clarify the following info:

1. is the material in the second line the material entered? if so, then this is not relevant for shipping point determination since this is no longer relevant for delivery.

2. if the material in the second line is the substitute material, please confirm this so we can look deeper into the matter.

Hi, the material in the second line it is the material substitud, so it is relevant for delivery Example:

You enter in the order:

MAT001 Quan: 10 CV Plant 7746 Storage location DSD1 (sotorage location enter manually)

then the material determination apply:

MAT001 Quan: 10 CV Plant 7746 Storage location DSD1 (not relevant por delivery),shipping point was determined.

MAT001 Quan: 10 CV Plant 7746 Not Sotorage location not shipping point relevant for delivery.

Hi,

Shipping point is determined from the OVL2 only.

If you are trying some other method then remove this setting first.

Because if you have maintain any setting over here then that will only reflect in the sales order.

So remove this setting first then try to do your process.

If you get the result then please share your process with us.

Hello,

Generally SHIPPING POINT depends on the PLANT,SHIPPING CONDITIONS & LOADING GROUP

Even for your second material also this is the determination Rule.

Please goto Transaction code OVL2 and check whether the combination of PLANTSHIPPING CONDITIONSLOADING GROUP were maintained or not

SHIPPING CONDITIONS should be either from the Sales documents or from the Customer master

LOADING GROUP is from the Material master General plant data tab

So please check all these setting for the second material also.

I know the determination of the shipping point based on Shipping condition-plant and loading group, but in this case, i´m using the determination of the shipping point based on the storage location in the next configuration Set Up Storage-Location-Dependent Shipping Point Determination Here you can change the determination based on storage location-specific shipping point. And when you create the sales order you need to put the storage location to determine the shipping point.

in the table V_TVSTZ_STORLOC you set this configuration.

Now when you are using material determination you put the number of the material, the quantity and the storage location in the item ths shipping point was determine but in the sub item doesn´t.

That is the issue.

Hi

The shipping point will be determined on the basis of shipping condition, loading group and the delivering plant.

The storage location dependent shipping point determination is used only in delivery documents and not in sales orders (Assign Shipping Points According to Storage Location).

To activate this you must first Define Rule for Determination of Shipping Point, wherein you can assign the rule to the delivery document only and not to the sales order.

If you say that you are getting the shipping point determined based on the number of the material, the quantity and the storage location entered(though it is not) then here note that you are entering the storage location only to the material entered and not to the material determined. When the system determine the alternate material then the shipping point will be determined on the basis of shipping condition, loading group and the delivering plant as per SAP standard process.

Try by entering the storage location to the material determined and check whether you can get the shipping point or not and let the forum know the result.

The shipping point will be determined in sales order based on the assignments maintained. The shipping point assignment is mainatined for the combination of Shipping conditions-Loading group-Plant. Please check whether the assignments are made or not. If not, please maintain and check by creating a new sales order or by adding another line item in this same sales order.
