Hi,
Investigate the BOM from business perspective & check if the BOM has been setup correctly. If that is fine, then check why C has been defined as FERT & A as HALB.
It could be that C is sold as a finished goods & at the same time is a sub-assembly for another higher assembly (A).

Vivek

Hi,
What you notice is quite possible to occur as one finished product can be a part of another assembly.
As said earlier look at it from business perspective. Check & ensure the FERT which is under the HALB is truly a finished product which your client manufacturers & sells.
Also check if you can change the material type of FERT to HALB, discuss with your business contact point to understand this assembly.

Vivek
Kumar,
Which company you are working with and whose is your current Client? You can mark this answer to my E-Mail Id.
I think if many FERT Materials are assigned to HALB, then it seems logically wrong..FERT can get assigned to FERT..Please check with your client on the business process and see whether they are mapped properly.

Prasobh
