Query regarding payroll status it 0003 & IGMOD

Hi Guys,

I want to ask some basic parts of payroll;

First,what is the exact use of payroll status it 0003 in payroll,whenever i am giving any date on run payroll upto checkbox in this it the message is coming "Run payroll up to must be within the inactive period",what does it actualy mean;can i give date on this box manually,What the Run payroll upto box served for?

Secondly,What the purpose igmod serves for for it.

Pay roll Status Infotype -0003 will be processed by the system automatically in SAP HCM there are two infotypes once is 0003 another is infotype related to Recruitment which will get default values automatically and also check the TC for IT003

in table V_T582A it differs with rest of the infotypes

To do any Changes we have to use PU03 and take F1 help and read the documentation of each feilds if u want to check for PERNR in Mass

Check the Report RPUTRBK0

for IGMOD - The Reponse given by our Member Purnmima and nima will suffice ur query

and we cannot see the IT0003 in the infotype menu as we see action organisational assigment in PA30

Payroll status or info 0003 states what is the exact date upto which u can perform retro or any change in master data.Also it says the end date till which payroll will be run.make sure ur validity period ends on 31.12.9999,so that u dont face this problem.

comingto your second question IGMOD is a feature where u have to give a return value .As we know all the feature consists of PSA(personal sub area), so we have to group required info types in infogroup and assign it as return value.

thanks for your response.What i want to ask suppose i define infogroup with infogroup modifier with return value what purpose it basically served.Also what the terms non holders with body,non with holders without body,rehabilitants means in IGMOD,

Can you know what is Additional Action?

If you have any IDEA pls share because recently these questions asked me during a Interview

if we run more than one action for an Employee within a day than it is called Addotional action

Hi,

IT0003 is used for correcting / running payroll results for a particular pernr no. The "run payroll upto" field should contain the date which is the last working date of the employee.. or the end date for all active infotypes of that particular employee.

You can also enter a date in the "Do not run payroll after" field and this date should be greater than the date of "Run payroll upto".

IGMOD is a feature to default your Infogroup modifier... i,e all those infotypes which you would lke to group together to form your infogroup.

Thanks for your concern,what the problem i am faciing instead of doingsimulation,release,exit when i am going to display payroll result apart frm pers no i am seeing no result,can i make result by any tdodes or it or it is always system generated

Hi Surjit,

Infogroup modifier is a feature which is used to restrict infotypes for particular group of employees.

Suppose you need to maintain IT0442 only for executive employee not for all employee. Then you can create 2 different infogroup out of which one is assigned to return value of IGMOD feature and you can add IT0442 where as other will be blank without IT0442.

So while performing that action, if you hire other employee, IT0442 will not come in sequence as part of infogroup where as while hiring executive, IT0442 will come in sequence.

Hi,

You have to maintain the Form Editor PE51. Copy the std form and include your earnings and deductions in the windows W1 & W2 and also in earnings and cumulation windows...
