Workitem not reaching the Agent inbox .

Hi All,

The workitem is not coming to the agent inbox. This is happenning for one specific user and he is the only approver in this level. I can see the agent in the agent pop-up (his name) of the workitem and the workitem is in waiting status in log.

The agent is detemined through position, as the agent is coming correctly in the agent pop-up of WF log this assignment of position is fine(as per my understanding). I have checked for that step in the workflow and binding also. It is fine. Late i checked by sending a mail from SBWP to the user and he is getting the email.

I tried comparing the users who is getting the workitem and the only difference i can find is that the role is missing for this user in SU01d. If the role is missing will the workitem wont be received in the inbox?.

Kindly guide.

Thansk & Regards,

Neslin.

This can occur when the approver was having the role at the time of workietm creation. after that the role could have been removed which makes the workitem inaccessible to the approver. check change documents for role assignment.

Hi,

Is that TASK that is used in Workflow step set to 'General' ?

change task >> additional data >> agent assignment >> maintain >> attributes >> checkbox "general task"

Once this setting is done you can do the agent assignment with role through the agent assignment in the workflow builder.

Yes it is possible. The user is not one of the possible agents of the task. And the possible agents might have been determined based on an authorisation role. Check the task for its possible agent setup.
