cprojects - IDES

Hi everyone,

We have IDES ECC 6.0 EHp3 installed...I tried to call cprojects URL from SE80>Webdynpro>DPR_mainframe>cprojects...but i always get IE cannot display the webpage...I browsed through several threads and learnt some services have to activated...when i checked the same in SICF all the services are already activated...pls help on this issue....I want to access cprojects...what else have to be done...

No error message is displayed....whenever I call URL...it shows Internet Explorer cannot display the page...

Hi

try adding entry of your domain in IE > TooLs > LAN SETTING > ADVANCED > Exceptions

e.g if your weblink is

http://forums.sdn.com:8080/sap/bc/webdynpro etc

then add http://forums.sdn.com*, in exceptions

If it doent work

also try to enter the entry in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

in Host file by opening the file in notepad

Entry should be like

127.0.0.1 <domain name without port>

for above example
127.0.0.1       forums.sdn.com
