    Dear,

    Calendar year defined as -

Calender Yr Fiscal Yr Variant refers to the situation when the Fiscal Yr Variant is Calender based that is Jan to Dec,

Yr dependent Fiscal Yr refers to a situation where, the Fiscal Yr is not based on the Calender i.e Jan to Dec but still consists of 12 Months like April to March or June to July etc.

Basing on the message, Please check which is set up and the period is available in current setting or not.

If you define your fiscal year variant as year dependent then you have to define for each fiscal year when each period starts. You are now trying to post to fiscal year for which this is not defined.

Just go to OB29, select your fiscal year variant and click on Periods - system will ask you for fiscal year. Then you can define how calendar date and month (i.e. posting date) derives fiscal period and fiscal year.

    Regards,

    Syed Hussain.

You have selected the Check box for year against Fiscal year variant V3.

SPRO > IMG > Financial Accounting > Special Purpose ledger > Master Data > Maintain Fiscal Year Variants.

Against V3 , de-select the Check Box as "Year Dependent".

    Best Regards,
