Dear all,

just down i have checked MMSC transcation

for some storage locations MRP indicator is as- 1(storage location stock excluded from MRP)

and this filed is Grayed out, how can make it un-grayed

Dear Kumar,

Goto MM02,Enter the material,select MRP4 view,enter the plant and the same storage location for which MRP has been

excluded and enter and now remove the the value 1 from MRP storage location indicator and save the datas,

Save and then check in MMSC

Check and revert back.

Kumar,

In Table MARD, execute it for the plant / Storage location / Sloc MRP Indicator(DISKZ) = "1" combination, you would get the list of materials.

Dear Kumar,

One more way is to find out stor locn with 1 stor locn excluded from MRP is use transaction MMSC_MASS and choose Sloc MRP indicator in it and then execute with required plants & materials as per your requirement.

Dear Kumar,

Go to MMSC_MASS -

---

> Select Plant , Material & Sloc MRP Indicator & execute with Data Records to be changed option

On the next screen, you will find list of materials as per your selection criteria. On the top you will find Display Old Values option (Green Plus sign icon with page) select it so sytem will show you old values for the Sloc MRP indicator which will show you list of all materials with value 1.

You can set / remove 1 for all materials by changing new value field on the above of material list appearing.

Dear Tejas,

i have executed MMSC_MASS

1) plant

2) stroage location MRP indiactor -1

after executing with the above parameters

i am getting a Message as

You Have Selected up to 1,191,920 Records

we don't have this many materials in our plant

what could be the reason.

Dear Kumar,

The no of materials which will be displayed is as per your selection criteria i.e. you have these many no of material with stor locn MRP indicator existing with 1 value.

The value is coming large because one material is extended to multiple storage locations.

Dear Kumar,

That's what i told you in previous answer. Since material storage location combination with value 1 is so much large that it will give runtime error.

So better you restrict at material level upto certain extent so that system will execute the required list.

Kumar,

This gets derived based on the defination from the SPRO. SPRO->Production Planning->MRP->Planning->Define storage location MRP per Plant.

HI

the stor location will be grayed out inorder to donto do any changes.

if you need to delete the stor location , you can delete if you maintain the stor loca in the mmsc. if you maintianed the stor location in mm01 . it will delete.

When you are extending the storage location for the first time, default system would propose based on the OMIR definations, before saving itself you can remove the "1" defination and save. Once you have saved with defination "1", you can remove the defination only from MM02 in MRP4 view, you need to go with organisational level both plant and storage location for this.
