without budgeting and planning can we book costs directly through internal order to projects, if yes, please explain how.

Hi,

Please ensure whether your order type is assigned to the budgeted profile. Follow the following path:

Controlling-Internal Order-Budget and Availaibility Control-Maintain Budget Profile(T Code KOAB)

-->Maintain Budget Profile

>Maintain Budget Profile in Order Types>Select this and remove the assignment for your relevant order type.

Hi If you dont want to take budgeting and planning, you can go with over head order types and maintain object class as over head. You can take the any order type with category 1 (transaction code KOT2) and remove the budget and planning profile in the order types.

Further if you want to post to orders only for the purpose of reporting you can select statistcal order check box in the control tab.

Don't assign the budget profile and planning profile to the order type.
