Features of Easy Doc Mgmt system

Hi everyone,

Could anyone please describe the features of SAP Easy Doc.Mgmt. System and also could anybody please guide me about:

1. Is it possible to recover a deleted file/folder in SAP Easy Docu.Mgmt System?.

2. Please also give me some features which are available in SAP Easy Doc Mgmt System but not in MOSS 2007.

3. Please guide me about workflow feature. is this feature available in SAP EASY DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT?

hi,

edms does not support the standard workflow like DMS. to support the workflow you may need to do additional coding.

if you delete the files then they can not be recovered (same as in DMS ), but if you delete DIR then it sets deletion indicator only again same as DMS backend..so in short it behaves same as DMS.

hi

can u plz be specific whta u r looking for..comparison of DMS with easyDMS is not justified anyways as eDMS is just a front end addon and in turn it uses the backend BAPI etc

Originals deleted from EasyDMS can be moved to recycle bin by customizing easyDMS.
