The Symbolic link not working...........
let me know in which directory will i go and create a symbolic link so that it will .work..............
I am refreshing the data of PRD to QAS...
want to make a symbolic link so that it can logically read the PRD filesystem to target /oracle/QAS/ system
or
sapqas:oraqas 57>pwd
/oracle/QAS
sapqas:oraqas 57>ln -s /PRD /QAS
can you confirm the symbolic link of QAS system made for restore

The command is wrong and that is the reason why it is not working. Also when you are running the restore command are you using the UTL and .SAP files used by the source system during the backup?
