log on is required to open a bw download file

Hello!

We have a web template (BW 3.x), we execute it, we have a table result and we export to MS Excell 2000. The first column of the result table is the material product with a hierarchical rapresentation.

Due to this rapresentation we have a logo picture item. If right clicking the logo picture icon and select Tag Properties, we can see the image Source : http://sbwhvv01.vimar.net:8000/sap/bw/Mime/BEx/Icons/s_b_right_35.gif .

Due to this hierarchical rapresentation, log on to BW is required to open sapbw_download file (xls file) wich contains that picture item.

Any suggestion? the download file must be openef from anybody, no logon must be required. Logon is required beacuse this download file contains the picture item and its link.

thanks in advance for your cooperation

sabrina

    Sabrina,

We encountered this same problem, and the solution is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is create an anonymous logon ID for MIME services. This is described in several threads here, including the following one:[create-sappublicbwmimecustomerimages-path-in-sap-b]

If you need more help, search for "MIME service" in this forum or in SAP Notes.

    Hope this helps...

    Bob

    Hi Sabrina,

unfortunately there is no standard way to solve this.

The only way is to delete this icon and save the file again.

SAP answered: "it's not a bug it's a feature" and you do not correct.

    regards Sven
