how can i connect both application server s in one system

Hi masters ,

HOw can i connect both application servers in one single system. I mean on sap 4.7 system ( abap applications server)i installed portal 7.0 ( j2e application server). hOw can i give rfc connection for both application servers. how to connect both systems

What do you want connect and what do you intend to do?

Hi,

The systems can be installed on same host, however they would differ in system number.

Hence the system number can be used to differenciate them (when the host name is same) while pointing through RFCs etc.
