Increase the Profile Limit per User

Hello,

I have a question. I know that the maximum no. of profiles per user is 312. But my main question is that can we increase or decrease the limit of profile per user? If so, which tcode? and if not, why? Thank you.

Hello Izharuddin Samdani,

The maximum limit for assigning profiles is 312 which is derived from the table USR04 where the field length of ProfS is defined as 3750. This is defined by Developers which designing the table.

If you want to assign more than 312 profiles, you can assign Reference User to the user.

But with NW 7.50, the limit of 312 profiles is also removed.

There is no parameter which controls the no. of profiles that can be assigned to the user.

If your SAP NW version is older version than limit is 300 which can be found in SAP note below

841612 - Maximum number of profiles per user

To answer your question I do not think there is any parameter or setting for this.
