hi AA experts,

i am going to dispose a asset, depreciaton started last year,

accumulated depreication = depreciation of previous year + deperciation of current year = 10 + 90 =100

Acquisition value = 100

but net book value is not zero ,instead, net book value is 10,which is also depreciatio of previous year, so i got loss of disposal

can someone advse any clue to check out?

Hi,

Have you created your asset with AS91 transaction? then you might have not entered the accum dep till last closed FY (10).?

How did you came know that dep for last year was 10 and for curr yr is 90?

Have you checked the asset explorer for that asset in comparisons tab, whether it is depreciating correctly or not and in which year the asset;s NBV value becomes 0?

Check the dep key config, for any scrap value is maintained or not?

Please check.

Thanks,

Srinu

hi Srinivasa Borigi ,this asset acquired by purchasing,i have checked AW01N,this asset started depreciation since 2008,and i found this this asset has been fully depreciation.it means accumulated dereciation equal to asset value,i saw NBV is zero in AW01N,then i disposed this asset,i got loss, should not has loss because fully depreciated, right?

i suspected maybe depreciation of previous year not transferred to this year, because loss equal to depreciation of previous year, but i check aw01 everything is fine.

Hi

please check your dep key and scrap value percentage , if any cut off value key is assigned to this, it will keep that percentage in nbv.

If required change the dep key and then retire your asset.

Cheers
