Content conversion using PI MDM adapter in PI 7.1

Hello All,

I am using the PI MDM adapter in PI 7.1.

I have a scenario ECC - PI - MDM . ECC will send an IDoc to PI and we need to send a flat file to MDM.

So is it possible to convert the IDoc XML in PI to flat file using PI MDM adapter , and if yes then how ?

Hi Loveena,

I dont think it is possible to do content conversion with this adapter. The best thing would be write an interface which does the content conversion and using this adapter you can send them (as ravi mentioned in the document Non-XML Inbound Messaging).
