KSV5 is execution; KSV6 is overview; two different things.

Hi Eli & Yalamudi,

As I don't want to confuse my users to add KSV6 into the sap user menu, I thought there will be another tcode that can help them view the overview of the distribution.

Hence, can I conclude that KSV6 is not obsoleted, it's just that the tcode is not in the SAP menu (which I don't know why)? The alternative tcode which I just discovered is KSB5 but KSB5 is rather troublesome for the users.

Any ideas?

Best Regards,

Ethan

Hi Ethan,

There is no alternative transaction. Operational transactions (not reporting) are usually not duplicated in SAP as there is no functional need in this. Certain transactions are not put on the menu, but could be added there. I cannot see how the users will be confused by additional transaction in the menu.

Regards,

Eli

Hi,

KSV6 is not obsolete; you can continue using it.

Regards,

Eli

P.S. Notice, though, that it's not in standard SAP user's menu. If you want to include it in a menu, it should be done manually.
