Hello all,
We'd like to install a new system with the last release of SAP BPC NW. I've been looking for documentation but I haven't found anything about the minimun release of the SAP ERP system that feeds the BPC. Our release is ECC 6.0 SPS27.
Is it enough?
I've opened the same question in the BPC MS community, we haven't made a decision yet.
Thanks in advance.
Hi...
ECC doesnt connect with BPC directly.....but indirectly through BW....You can extract data from ECC to BW first and then from BW to BPC!! So your ECC should be compatible with BW's version first.....not BPC! Like if you have BW 7.3 NW or 7.4 or latest 7.5 NW....what version of ECC is compatible with it. Check that first! Check the PAM(Product availability Matrix) of BW as per the version for more information!
Hope its clear...
Regards,
JP

Hello all,
Thank you for your answers.
Yes, it is SAP BPC NW. I know it is a separate system, but it needs to connect and extract information from our ECC. Does this ECC need a minimum level, ie EHP2? Our ECC doesn't have any EHP and is ECC 6.0 Stack27. Do you think it is necessary to upgrade it? Our ECC has a BI-CONT 707 SP1.
Thanks

Are you talking about the BPC Standard(classic) for NetWeaver (SAP BPC NW )? if that is the case , it is a SAP BW component . You need to be thinking about which BW components version and SP that goes with you ECC version/SP

BPC standard is a separate system... What do you want to check?
