To restrict overdelivery tolerance up to a certain limit while creating PO

Dear friends,

How to restrict overdelivery tolerance up to a certain limit (e.g. 5 or 10%) in delivery tab while PO creation?

Any idea?

Hi

Hope you aware the delivery tolerance is coming from Purchasing value key you maintained in the Material master.

So you can restrict the over delivery percentage at purchasing value key itself.

Or please try the screen lay out to only display the field after maintaining the correct % in PVK.

Or Try some user exit with the help of ABAPer.

Hi,

You can try this, maintain overdelivery tolarance in Pur Info record and make Overdeliv. Tol.in PO as display only, else use any use exit / pass on a warning or error message in PO

Maintian the values in Purchasing value key.( Config in SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Material Master )

Enter the above purchasing value key in Material master .

Dear Karthik,

I can maintain the Purchasing Value Key in matrl master and I know that while creating PO the tolerance limit will be picked up from there. But it will not disallow me to change the tol limt. My reqmt is different. I want the entry into tol limit to be restricted up to certain limit so that nobody can enter beyond that. System should throw an error message if anybody tries to enter beyond that certain limit and one should not be able to save the PO.

Is there any other way?

If you are saying that users cannot be changed the tolerance % entered in master records, restrirct all concerned users from changing tolerance limit with transaction authorizations.

SPRO @ Supplier Relationship Management @ SRM Server @ Cross-Application Basic Settings @ Set Tolerance Checks .

There is no alternative , u should go for an field exit.

Consult an ABAPer for the same.

As you said IN me21n under the Deliveryb tab we have two tolerances-one undr tolerance and other over tolerance.

If you want the over tolerance then maintain the percetage in over tolerance field.

Use any BADI / User exit to pass on a error message with ABAPer's help in PO
