Is it Possible to use I-stock type as 01-Batch While using product specification based valuation?

Dear Experts,

I am using product specification based valuation in my solution. Earlier my identified stock ids were created by using identified stock type as 01-Batch. Is it mandatory to change identified stock type to 03-optional identified stock or 04-Mandatory identified stock or I can still use identified stock type as 01-Batch and continue with product specification based valuation.

Is product specification based valuation is dependent on Identified stock type? Any Inputs or suggestions are highly appreciated.

the issue is that batches can only be assigned to product specifications in case the istock type is optional or mandatory specified stock. And of course, if you do not assign the batches to a product specification, then they cannot be valuated accordingly. So I recommend to change the istock type. But maybe the 'old' batches are valuated with the business residence vaule. Not sure if this is fine for you. Please try out looking at the valuated stock overview in the 'Physical Inventory' work center.

    Best regards,
