Hi,
I have created a second Job Server on my unix JS machine.
When I issue a 'ps - eaf | grep al_j', I can see both job server processes running.
However when I try to execute a simple job against the new job server I get an error message 'The job server you selected is not working'.
The entry in al_machine_info looks correct.
Any ideas please ?
Thanks,
Eric.
Fixed this by removing a ind.ho suffix from the machine name in AL_MACHINE_INFO
I don't understand why it worked though !
Eric.

are you able to execute the job on previous/old job server ?
the problem could be with Desginer not able to communicate with the job server running on this new port, are these machines behind a firewall ? is this port allowed in firewall
