Outbound delivery with HUM - only with WM-managed storage locations?

Hi,

we want to use a HUM-managed storage location for the shipping process (i.e. assign the existing complete / full HUs to a delivery).

From what I get by doing the postings this is only possible with a storage location that is WM-managed at the same time.

Is that correct?

If so, are there any workarounds to "avoid" WM for the pick storage location?

Hi,

You can set HU requirement for a SLoc w/o WM (SPRO > Logistics - General > HUM > Basics > MM > IM > HU Requirement for Storage Locations and Default Values for Deliveries) - WMS is optional and not a must (if the SLoc is not assigned to a WH in SPRO > Enterprise Structure > Assignemnt > LE > Assign WH to Plant / SLoc).
