Initial Status of a new Batch: Restricted Use

Dear Experts,

I want to activate the initial status of a new batch as 'restrircted' for all my FERT's.

I have activated in transaction OMAB. But when I create a batch, I still get the status as 'Unrestricted'.

Please advice if I have to do any other settings.
