Solution manager detected an erro and sent me this email alert:
ATTRIBUTE_INV_SND_SERV error text: Unable to convert the sender service SRV_xxxxxxxxxx to an ALE logical system.
Not sure what this error means and how to fix.
Contacted the partner and they said they did not receive the file.
So something prevented it from going out.
This is from a running interface that has has files sent successfully before and after this error.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Plz make sure that you have maintained the XI Integration server logical system name into SLD correctly.
In the sender adapter, see whether you have checked the option "Apply sender service " ?
if not then check that option and resend the messge through SXMB_MONI.
Hope this will reslove the issue.
Regards
Ashwin

HI,
"Unable to convert the sender service <Business Service Name> to an ALE logical system"
To avoid this error, we need to specify a Logical System for the IDOC adapter. To specify the logical system, open Integration directory and select the Business Service that is configured as receiver for the IDOC.Switch to Edit Mode and choose the "Service" menu and then the menu option "Adapter-specific identifiers". In the popup specify a Logical System for the IDOC adapter.Save and activate the Business Service.

Venkat.

Hi Jeff ,
For the business system you need to mention the adapter specific identifiers in the Integration Directory.
Int. Directory -> Double Click on your IDoc Business System -> Menu -> Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers
Maintain Logical System name and System ID and Client number.
