Hi all!
I couldn't find a related post about this question so sorry if there was one.
I was looking for the possibility/feasability of restricting the 'Post Difference' button in transaction MI24.
I couldn't locate a direct authorisation code linked to that controller so if there is a way I would very much appreciate your input on this.
Scenario presented to me:
- 'Person/Role A' needs to be able to perform the function
- 'Person/Role B' needs to be able to see/access MI24 but should not use the Post Difference function.
My thoughts are that it's a permanent fixture, whereby if a user can use the transaction, they will always be about to post differences.
Thanks and Kind Regards,
Tom
Hi,
Define tolerance for the user is not a solution for you?

In Customizing for Inventory Management, you can define the following value tolerances for posting inventory differences for a user group:
maximum amount per physical inventory document
maximum amount per document item
If the amount of a document exceeds the document tolerance defined for the user group, the user is not allowed to post any inventory differences for this document.
If the total value of the document is less than the document tolerance, but some items exceed the maximum amount per item, the user is not allowed to post any differences for these items. However, other items can be processed by the user.
