Is it possible to process ATP check using alternate UoM in sales order

Hello experts,

We have a situation where our product has base UoM as well as alternate UoM maintained in the material master. We allow our customers to use either of these UoM when they order. Those customer who order using alternate UoM, we would like ATP check and confirmation to use alternate UoM instead of base UoM. At present ATP process is based on base UoM so if insufficient qty is available it would confirm incorrect qty for the alternate UoM.

Here is an example:

Available inventory 50EA for LOT-A

Where one case (UoM CS) needs 100EA.

If customer orders 1CS, system would confirm that order item with 0.5CS as there are only 50EA available.

F Y I : SAP has confirmed that this is std ATP functionality, ATP is always based on base UoM.
