Cost center replacement with WBS element in Maintenance plan & in Maintenance order

Hi SAP experts,

I would like to ask you all that in our company we are implementing the PM module but the need of the client is to book costs ,not on the grounds of COST CENTER but on WBS element based FICO structure ,is it possible to configure it by standard configurations or we will have to undergo enhancement .

I would be thankful if you suggest the difference between configuring PM module with cost center base and the WBS base .

Please help me in this issue.

There are options to settle WOs on WBS elements.

1. Master data such as Equipment or FL have WBS element then settlement rules will automatically be created on WBS

2. You can also change settlement rule in maintenance item which will automatically be adopted to WO

3. You can also create PM orders from WBS elements as well

There may be some configuration for settlement but I do not think there will be an enhancement for this functionality.

This is standard PM you won't need any enhancements. On a PM order there are 2 places where you assign the WBS on the Location and Assignment tab. With configuration you can have the order automatically create a settlement to the assigned WBS. The PM order will also show in PS transactions such as CN41N once it is assigned.
