Divide Freight Condition to Purchase Order Line Items

Dear SAP Experts,

I have a freight Condition Maintained as both header & line item condition.

I have maintained Group condition check for it as well but system is still giving each line items the amount i enter at header level.

Let say if i enter 100 usd at header level for a purchase order which has 2 line items. Instead of dividing that 100 usd system is giving both line items freight value of 100 usd & total condition value becomes 200 usd.

what are the possible solutions for this. I have searched a number of other answers & found that group condition check will help. but it's already maintained in my case.

Dear Nida,

I have replicated the same scenario in my system, it's behavior is same as it was in your system, manual condition is not overwritten and it double the amount and make the part of material cost. i am of the view that you have to change your SOP, like when ever this special procurement is be initiated, Buyer must first ask for the deletion of condition record and then make the PO, once PO is made then it should again undelete the condition record.

there is a tick box "Group Condition" in condition type configuration, please click on the check box and try again!

Dear Nida,

One information is being skipped which is the real cause to the best of my knowledge. I means system is perfectly fine if there is no condition record against the material. but if there is a valid condition record and you are putting manual condition, system is doing this weird behaviour.

Hi,

Please test with removing the tick "item condition" (only tick "Header Condition"). Also check whether you are wrongly adding this condition type at item level also in your PO.
