SAP B1 v8.82 PL 12 Windows Server OS compatibility

Hi Experts,

I just want to as if it is possible that SAP B1 v8.82 pl12 will run to Windows Server 2016 stndard and sql server 2012? Currently we're using Windows server2008 r2 and sql server 2008.
The reason why i wanna know that it will run to windows server 2016 because we're planning to upgrade our current server machine.

Romel, what's the reason you aren't updating SAP Business One as well?

Hi,

The answer is NO. Windows server 2016 supports from 9.2 PL07.

Thanks for the answered.
What will happen if it will install to Windows Server 2016?
I tried to install it to VirtualBox and as of now I'm requesting temporary license for that to test.

I never tried in VM. This is recommended by SAP.
