Failed Connection

Hello I uploaded a report thru CMC in Crystal Report Server. I have some report uploaded in the fodlers

when i view the reports i get the following error:

Error

Failed to open the connection

Can someone tell what the reason is? I am new to CrystalreportServer,

I overlooked what odbc i was creating and instead of creating system dns i created user one and hence the error.

Check the db properties of the uploaded report. Specify connect connection details.

Sure I will get back to you on that, before that I just want to be clear on something things that I have done:

I created the reports in CR XI R2 desinger and it has paramters.

And regarding the Crystal Report server,

CMC - where u have a wide choices of applciation and control and u upload reports ,have permission levels,access evels etc.

what is InfoView? does it mean that users created in CMC login into infoview to see the reports? I mean clients, end users who typically run the reports?

What other such apps are there for any user tologin in the crystal reports sever?

All I know is the CMCapp and the infoViewApp.

Also one more question,

my Cr desinger uses odbc connection, so shl i set up the odbc in the server here I have the Crystal Report Server too?
