Hi!

Instead of Deleting a User, it is better to Lock the User in Admin > Setup > User also, uncheck his License under License Admin.

If you do not want to see those user names displayed there, I assume you have already unclicked the Used check box. if that is true, you need to remove those users under Users - Setup. If those users are tied to Employee Master, you have to break the links before remove them.
