    Hi,

This is a periodic processing where you first check for WIP. Check Variance. Go to COOIS and check the status of

Production Orders(not mandatory). Confirm from Production Department of the status of Production Orders and

their readiness for settlement of Production Orders through KO88. Keep the posting period open for 2 to 3 days

in next month. Run Cost Estimate CK40N.

    Regards,

    Sadashivan

      Hi Raj,

Costing Run (CK40N) is a corporate policy. This has nothing to do with Settlement. He must must referring to a case where, if the costing run as per the company policy is to run every month.

But to my experience, most of the companies do the costing run once in a year or 6 months.

so carrying out CK40N depends on the corporate policy

      Best Regards

      Surya
