Hi

Does standard Travel Module allows to cancel a request? We are using ECC 6.0.

Table FTPT_REQ_HEAD the 'Planning Status' has entry "Canceled (currently not used)". Wondering if it used in standard?

Travel Request cannot be cancelled. It is just not there in SAP.

Cancel Trip is a different function. When an expense report is created it is called trip.Once its is approved and then settled, it is posted. If by chance there is a requirement of any change to be done in a trip that has already been posted, it is cancelled. That is what Cancel Trip is all about. Before posting a trip cannot be cancelled. Try doing all this in Tcode PR05 in R/3, you well get clarity

Hi,

In the Travel and expenses iview present in the folder 'Content provided by SAP', there is a link 'My trips and Expenses'. In this iview all the trips and travels are stored. If you want to cancel any, then click on the button 'Delete'. According to the workflow configured in your system, it should send a deletion(calcellation) request to the manager for approval.

However, in the standard Travel and Expenses ESS page, I do not see any button as "Cancel" or "Cancel Request". Does that mean it has to be developed or is there a setting missing?

I am logged on as Superuser. I do see "Delete" button in "Travel and Expenses" iView.

However, when I use delete button it deletes the travel request details, instead of changing the status of Travel Request to cancelled.

Why delete should "Change" instead of "Delete"?

There is another iview called 'Canceltrip'...check if u can use that.

You can surely cancel a request.
