Hi,
I am looking at the possibilities of using BRM for process implementation and management. I am trying to build a demo app. I need to know if there is some sample available that can demostrate capability and usage of BRM in business implementation side.
I need of some clarification on whether the business user gets a seperate UI (besides NWDS editor) for creating a and managing rules. e.g. NWA
TIA,
-Naresh
Hi Naresh,
Rules Tutorial Center provides you with lots of business examples on how rules can be used.
Rules Tutorial Center - [original link is broken]
Here is the link to the Warranty Claims business process example provided - http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/elearn?rid=/library/uuid/c0a826c8-b751-2b10-3d9b-bd50eefa2a59
Regarding your other query - in 7.1.1 we do not have any saperate UI for rules management. But, this is surely expected in the future version of BRM.
Regards,
Arti

Hi Arti,
I went through tutorial center, and am able to make out the modelling features of BRM, I am looking for a reference from design perspective. This includes scoping of the BRM to extent of practical implementation.
Most of the things I am able to make from sample applications. Besides Rules implementation. I am trying to understand How the implementation would work in practice and the actual customer would use. E.g. Can business person change rule set up without compiling the code ?
I am trying to run the warrenty claims demo facing some issues with. Hope to complete at the earliest.
Thanks,
-Naresh
