Hi all,
a few weeks ago I installed B1 2007A SP00 PL 47 on the server (Windows Server 2008 - SqlServer 2005) of a customer;
we tested the connection and the import of BPs and everything was working fine.
Today, after the server was shut down and restarted, when I try to connect to a database I get the following error:
Connection to SERVER1 has failed (SERVER1 is the name of the server running both SqlServer and the License Manager)
error code 100000001
Connection with License manager failed
Any idea what the reason can be?
Note that:
B1 License manager is started;
B1 clients can connect to any db;
as far as I know nothing was changed in the server installation;
DTW can get the db list (Refresh button near company combo box): it's only the connection to a db that fails.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions!
best regards,
francesca
Check this blog,

Hi Francesca,
You may click on the Option to expand the login window to see what you have put in. Some options might be changed after you restart your server. I would select Use Windows Authentication whenever possible.
Thanks,
Gordon

yes!
We tried to restart DTW and License Manager too. B1 Clients work fine even if DTW is not working.
please note that DTW is running directly on the same server on which License manager and SqlServer are running.
This server is Window Server 2008.
What puzzles me is that a few weeks ago everything was working fine! At first try !!!
