Hi guys,
I tried to setup Auditing for our BO Server.
As the CMS runs on Oracle 10g, the Auditing-DB should run on this as well. The database name is BODB
So I logged on to the server and started "Database Control - BODB". Here, I created a new Tablespace and assigned this Tablespace to a newly created user (AUDIT_USER).
Then, I opened CCM, stopped SIA und tried to set up Auditing. Unfortunately, this has not yet worked as expected. So, I cleared the "Auditing Database Configuration" and started SIA again.
While SIA was running, I opened the properties und selected "Configuration"-Tab. The following message appears:
Failed to retrieve cluster name from the database. Reason: Business Objects Enterprise CMS: Unable to connect to the CMS system database "BODB". Reason: ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed.
Okay, though I stopped SIA again, opened Configuration Tab und hit "Specify" to enter a new "CMS System Database Configuration". I entered BODB, User and Password. The password is correct as I can logon with it into the database (with oracle).
How can I get rid of this error-message?
Thanks in advance!
Rgds,
