Hi Gurus
i have a material which is externally procued. how can i add the transportation time of the material availability date?
When i make ATP check in sales order. how can i calculate the tranport time from vendor to my stock? SAP considers only planned delivery date which is maintained in material master record.
For ex. Planned delivery time 10 days and vendor need 4 day for tansportation.
is it Ok if i use the processing time for goods receipt for transportation or should i use USER EXIT SDTRM001?
Thanks in advance
Emre
Hi Raj,
Thank You for your reply
i have one more question
after i create the Sales Order . MD02 create a Purchase requisition and
Purchase Order.
When I change the Planned Order Time in the Purchase Order it dont affect the
Material availability date in the Sales order(after )
Do I need to use the user exit to solve this problem. (MARC-PLIFZ?)
How can i solve this problem.

Hi,
In sap material availability date is determine by 4factors.
Transportation planning time + Pick Pack time + Loading Time + Transit time.
Now you want to add your 4day in the material availability date as per my understanding.
So what you can do is put 4days in the pick pack time.
So when ever your create the sales order it will add 4 days in your material availability date.
Pick pack time you will find out in the shipping point and the path is
IMG u2013 Enterprise Structure u2013 Definition u2013 Logistics Executive u2013 Define, copy, delete, check shipping point.
In that select your shipping point and in that you can find out pick pack time.
So just maintain 4 days over there and check the setting in the Sales order.
Regards
Raj.
