How to change shipping point in stock transport order (STO)?

Former Member

Hi all,

When creating an STO, the shipping point is determined automatically but I want to change it manually.

When I go to the item's shipping data, the shipping point field is grayed out (cannot be edited).

Where and when should I be able to edit it?

Thanks!

HI,

We maintain the shipping point assignment in the customizing settings. Hence the same will be picked automatically based on the plant for which you create the STO.

Check the below settings

IMG-LE-Shipping-Basic Shipping Functions - Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination - Assign Shipping Point

Now if you want to change the same then assign the Manual Shipping point in the above settings so that you can change the Shipping point manually when you create a STO.

Hope its clear

Thanks & Regards,

Hi. Yes I am familiar with that, however, we use two shipping points per plant: 1 for ROH, 1 for FERT.

I already maintained the 2nd shp pt as manual entry.

Where do I go in ME27 to edit shipping point? Here's what I do:

- Highlight item

- Item menu > More functions > Shipping point data

But shipping point is blocked even in create or change tcode. Is this normal?

Thanks!

HI,

I am not familiar with ME27 t.code since its a old one.

Hope normally all are using ME29N transaction to create PO/STO.

Can you please check the same & revert?
